Radial stock conveyors are designed to provide flexibility based on the facility’s location, land conditions, and specific customer needs. The belt conveyor chassis is connected to the ground via a fixed joint at the tail module. High-strength steel construction supports the weight of the intermediate modules and the drive module, with these components attached to an axle mounted on wheels. These wheels are filled to prevent them from becoming loose.
The gearbox is driven by a coupled motor, and the conveyor is equipped with a special brake system to prevent any unintended movement due to environmental conditions during operation or when the system is stopped.
The fixed hinge point at the tail module serves as the center of rotation, allowing the conveyor to turn both clockwise and counterclockwise within the permitted angle. This design enables a larger stockpile compared to fixed stock belt conveyors.
