Belt Conveyor

Belt conveyors

Belt conveyors are highly effective for transporting bulk materials such as mineral ores, stone, sand, and grain at high capacities over long distances. A belt conveyor consists of an endless belt stretched between two drums. These conveyors are ideal for transporting materials over long distances without interruption, either horizontally or at a low incline. The materials typically transported include sand and granular substances.

Our UB Series Belt Conveyors feature a modular design, offering ease of transportation and assembly. These conveyors connect different stages of the crushing and screening process, facilitating the movement of materials between machines and stocking the final products classified by size.

The drum connected to the drive system is referred to as the drive drum. The other drum, typically responsible for tensioning the belt, is called the tensioner drum or tail drum. The belt on these drums is supported by carrier and return rollers attached to the frame. To ensure the belt doesn’t slide sideways during operation, a direction roller is installed in the side compartments. The material is transported by a rubber belt moved by these drums, and material is fed onto the belt through a loading chute and discharged via a discharge chute.
